Spot Market Update: Chana Supported On Festive Demand, Arrivals Low

Steady movememt was seen in chana due to miller's buying in local mandies ahead of Holi festival. The market sources stated that the daily arrivals were reported in the range of 10 motors in Delhi. The sources are expecting chana production in the range of 9-9.20 million tonnes in 2019 against government's estimates of 10.50 million tonnes. The chana prices in Lawrence Road have been reported at Rs 4305-4320 per quintal.
