Back home, key equity benchmarks ended marginally higher on Friday, 16 August 2019, rising for the second straight day. Steep gains were capped amid worries about slowing economic growth and ongoing Sino-US trade tensions. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, rose 38.80 points or 0.1% to 37,350.33. The Nifty 50 index rose 18.4 points or 0.17% to 11,047.80.
