Cadila Healthcare said that the company has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Methotrexate tablets USP. 2.5 mg, a chemotherapy drug used for leukemias, lymphnomas, breast cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancers and other cancers. The drug will be produced at group's formulations manufacturing facility at the pharma special economic zone in Ahmedabad. The group now has more than 105 approvals and has so far filed nearly 275 Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) since the commencement of the filing process in the financial year ended 31 March 2004.
